About London Tennis
London Tennis has been at the forefront of competitive tennis for the adult amateur player market, for over 20 years. Having set up thousands of matches for London based players, through its organisation of various competitions, LT has continued to provide an important resource for these players.
Since September 2021 we have started a collaboration with the SPORTCH App. to offer competitive matches within London Parks, to provide a system for players looking to play just in one location, and within London Boroughs for Park and Club players, looking for more competitive opportunities.
The SPORTCH App., runs the best online ladder system and quite frankly the best online competition platform that I have ever seen in my time of over 40 years in tennis.
I have tried and tested the platform at my coaching base in Wimbledon Park through my company https://tennis4you.co.uk . SPORTCH works where many ladder systems fail and in my opinion has superseded the traditional box league system, which has been around for many years. The SPORTCH system offers greater efficiency, flexibility and value than box leagues and it is very handy to be App. based, it's so easy!
To participate your playing level should be anywhere between Improver (you can pop a serve in the box, hit some basic strokes and know how to score) to top amateur level (not professional only because you hold down a job!).
The SPORTCH App. allows all players to keep in the proximity of other competitors of a similar playing level. Play as much as you like or just the odd match here and there, London Tennis gives monthly prizes to the biggest mover and the busiest player, each month, and on each ladder.
